Happy Valentine's Week! It is time for February's CURRENTLY by Farley over at Oh' Boy 4th Grade!
LISTENING - One of the little joys (not even being sarcastic lol) of being the receptionist is that I get to hear the goings on of the school. The pitter patter (screech) of sneakers in the the hallway, the Lunch room madhouse, the teachers running through their lessons. It puts me at ease :)
LOVING - Relaxing at home! We are finally set in our routine and Mr. Who and I are very happy and cozy <3
THINKING - Ordered my CDA Textbooks so I am so eager to get them in the mail and start studying!
WANTING - Trying to find the right dining room set... don't even mind sanding it down and staining it differently, but all the ones I find are butt-ugly and wibbly-wobbly. I'm trying to make a home here, not buy something that's going to break the second we sit down!
NEEDING - Yea, this is my lesson I'm going through right now. I took on more than I should have last month so I felt overwhelmed. I'm learning to cut back and that it is OK to say NO sometimes. It doesn't mean I can't be helpful, it jkust means I can't commit myself to every single project... and that's ok :)
2 TRUTHS/1 FIB - LOL...
TRUTH - Obviously I'm getting my CDA
TRUTH - Obviously I was overwhelmed
FIB - I'm the leader of the nut house it feels like lol
Happy Valentine's Week!

ReplyDeleteIt is sooooo hard to learn how to say NO! I'm working on that myself. The few times I've managed to do so have been magical, but that still doesn't make it any easier. Hope you're enjoying turning your apartment into a home.

Enjoyed reading your currently. I have to ask, What is CDA? I have never heard of that, but assuming it is probably something I know but by a different name.
ReplyDeleteI bought my dining room furniture at Rooms To Go and the chairs are great!
The CDA stands for Child Development Associate by the National Credentialing Program... like the Associate's degree of Education basically lol. Actually, it's a lot like that since majority of 2 year colleges accept this credential as credits!
